Our Inside Sales Representatives (Surgery Schedulers) are responsible for providing face to face screening, education, cost and payment options. For Lasik, Cataract and elective services.

Job Description:

  • Helping patients evaluate their vision goals. Educate patients on the benefits of each treatment option.
  • Discuss payment options with prospective patients
  • Provide continuous communication with potential and current patients. Via phone and or email. To maintain a great patient relationship.
  • Correspond with referring doctors and staff in a professional manor.

Job Description:

Assists optometrists and surgeons with diagnostic testing, preliminary screenings, procedures, and administrative tasks. Works with extreme attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 8 hours shift will be within the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm and may vary from week to week. Weekend Availability.

Job Description: (include but are not limited to):

· Building rapport with patients and documenting ocular and medical histories

· Performing various scans, imaging and tests using ophthalmic instruments that provide essential patient data: OCT, autorefractor, pentacam topography, optical biometry, visual acuity, intraocular pressure, extraocular movement/motility, visual fields, BAT test, A-Scan ultrasonography, and ultrasound biomicroscopy

· Administering physician-directed ocular medications and oral medication for testing, treatment, and procedures

· Inputting patients’ ocular and medical history, History of Present Illness and Chief Complaint into their Electronic Medical Record

· Intermittently assisting physicians during minor procedures, including instrumentation, preparations, and documentation

· Aiding in patient education pertaining to procedures offered, treatment available, and medications prescribed

· Upholding HIPAA requirements

· Maintaining professional appearance and conduct, a positive attitude, and self-motivation

· Maintaining efficiency and accuracy during high-volume clinic

· Cleaning and restocking exam rooms with medical supplies

· Working as a team player, striving for cohesiveness within the department and effectively working with other departments

· Demonstrating reliability in attendance and punctuality

Qualifications: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. College education is preferred, but not required.Optometry or Ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required

Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist

Parkhurst NuVision is looking to add a quality IT help desk specialist to add on to our IT team. This person will be self-motivated and be able to work without direct supervision to complete tickets and other Triage computer issues. 

 

Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician 

  • Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner 
  • Respond to customer issues via phone, email and computer chat 
  • Document all fixes and attempts in ticketing systems. 
  • Diagnose physically or through employee descriptions of issues 
  • Escalate issues when needed, work with Network admin to find fix and record for future applications. 
  • Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software 
  • Follow-up with Co-workers to ensure issues are resolved and stay that way. 
  • Assist in maintaining medical devices where able and assist in delegating/outsourcing repairs. 

Qualifications for Help Desk Technician 

  • (2+ years) of experience working in a help desk environment 
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Ticketing systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly. 
  • Excellent oral communication skills 
  • Detail-oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets 
  • Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets in order 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues

Job Description:

  • Perform data entry and data retrieval services, providing information for inclusion in medical records
  • Identify inconsistencies or missing information in reports and enter corrections, obtaining correct data from appropriate resources
  • Take incoming calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to customer queries and concerns regarding upcoming surgeries
  • Enter data, such as demographic characteristics, history and extent of disease, diagnostic procedures, or treatment into electronic tracking system
  • Scan patients’ health records into electronic formats
  • Schedule medical appointments on behalf of patients
  • Perform light bookkeeping duties, such as credits or collections prior to surgery
  • Assist surgery schedulers with administrative duties and other duties as assigned
  • Keep up to date on any and all surgical appointment changes, such as date or surgery plan
  • Create and maintain professional working relationships with referring providers
  • Audit surgery paperwork for accuracy and completion, including but not limited to surgery consents, insurance approvals, and payments
  • Assemble surgical charts, performing calculations in accordance with surgery plans
  • Print diagnostic scans and complete administrative surgical paperwork
  • Keep surgery charts organized and ensure completion prior to surgery date
  • All other duties as assigned

Customer Service Representative

Our  Customer Service Representatives are responsible for inbound and outbound calls in a busy medical office. This office has a specialty niche, and our employees become subject matter experts in our practice. Our representatives maximize profitability for the company by scheduling patients, answering questions, and guiding patients through the process. Many calls we receive are from a discerning patient who has detailed questions, and our representatives are responsible for acknowledging the patient’s concerns and scheduling appointments appropriately to maintain an efficient schedule.

Our representatives utilize CRM and EMR systems to input and manage patient information. Representatives must exercise listening and problem-solving skills to assist patients with questions, medication requests, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the medical field is a plus but is not required.
