Open Letter to My Patients

Getting LASIK is a big deal, right up there with other life milestones such as graduating, getting married, or having kids. As it should be! Every person who walks through our doors is expecting to get the utmost care because we strive to deliver the best experience at all times and desire to make the journey to obtain vision correction more than just pleasant, but a memorable one. It is so moving to hear the various stories of the lives who have been changed forever, after overcoming their fears, allowing them to find out what independence from corrective eyewear really looks like, many after spending countless hours of researching for the ”best place.” So many have conveyed how they’ve lived their whole life sitting on the shallow end of the pool, asking those around them not to splash their face, because they are worried about losing a contact lens or their glasses. Fortunately, with the many advancements in technology, it is possible now more than ever to provide vision correction options to those who have been told they were not a candidate in the past. It brings me great happiness to hear when our patients are finally able to pursue the career of their dreams, or walk down the aisle and marry the person of their dreams, or submerge their head under water and conquer the deep end after having their life-changing vision correction procedure. What a joy it is to have this opportunity to impact lives everyday with the precious gift of sight! What an amazing feeling to be a part of a world-class team helping everyday people see every day!

With warm regards,

Dr. Anthony Vanrachack

"Before coming to Parkhurst Nuvsision I hated keeping up with glasses and contact lenses. After sometime debating on LASIK I came to Parkhurst NuVision and was taken back on how friendly and professional the staff is. I am completely happy with the procedure done and I want to shout out Dr. Vanrachack. He is so amazing I recommend him to anyone who reads this. If I could rate 6 stars I would."

"My wife, Kathy, had bilateral cataract removal surgery in Sept. 2020. This went very well, but had some setbacks with YAGS behind the lens implants. Dr. Vanrachack (AKA Dr. V) kept her on track. We kept moving forward and got that taken care of. All along the way everyone was so positive and encouraging. One last problem, astigmatism in both eyes. Dr. V. still stayed positive and we did LASIK surgery. They were amazing!! We just left the office with perfect vision!! Thank you Dr.V and everyone at Parkhurst Vision! You are all special and very kind people."
