Patient Health and Safety During COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
As concerns surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19) are rightfully rising, we wanted to let you know how Parkhurst NuVision is responding.
Our leadership team is carefully monitoring the situation and considering all recommendations from CDC and government officials. As always, we are committed to doing whatever we can to provide a safe environment for you as well as our staff and doctors.
As of today, March 16, 2020, we have implemented the following:
- Health screening stations monitored by a Registered Nurse at the staff entrance as well as the main entrance. This screening includes a temperature check as well as health and exposure-related questions.
- If information is to be filled out, we will kindly ask that you keep the pen we give you. Please know that our clipboards are wiped down between each use.
- We are cleaning every hour the following: high-touch surface areas, countertops, door handles and highly trafficked areas.
Most importantly we ask if you are feeling ill, please reschedule your appointment. Also at this time, we are asking no additional guests accompany you to your appointment unless you are a caregiver or providing physical assistance.
If someone will be accompanying you, we will kindly ask they wait in the car. Please know we may ask you to wait in the car until we are ready to begin your appointment.
We do not feel panicked, and we will continue to serve our patients through the latest vision correction treatments. All of these precautions are to serve the health of our patients, their families, and our team at Parkhurst NuVision.
Thank you for working together with us to do our small part in the battle against Coronavirus.
