Top 3 Things To Know Before Your Vision Correction Appointment

Category: LASIK

Make Sure to Watch the Video Above & Learn About What to Expect During Your Vision Correction Appointment

1. Leave Your Contacts At Home

Please don’t come to your appointment in your contacts. Feel free to bring or wear your glasses. Here’s why! You may be able to get your procedure scheduled very soon and some procedures require that you be out of your contacts for a few days. Think about it… you may never need to put a contact in again! Don’t worry, if you don’t have any glasses and need your contacts to get here, that’s okay. We got you covered!

2. Save Your PTO

You don’t have to take a lot of time off.  Most patients are back to work the very next day. Save that PTO to go on vacation and put your new vision to the test!

3. Save Money

When you’re considering whether the cost of LASIK and lens procedures are worthwhile, it can be helpful to take a look at the vision correction costs you’ve already been spending. Consider how long you’ve been wearing glasses or contact lenses. Every time your eyes change, or anytime your glasses or contacts get damaged, you have to replace your glasses, your contact lenses, or both. If you’ve been wearing glasses since you were a child, those costs can really add up over time. Ever added those costs up? Check out this calculator to see how your costs measure up!

Be sure to talk to one of our doctors about not only the benefits of LASIK, but also any risks of LASIK that may pertain to your individual needs and circumstances.
