Athletes and EVO ICL

As an athlete, vision is extremely important in every play. Carl recalls “we were playing in an away game at Florida International University. My contact got poked out while like in mid play and you know, there’s not really a lot of extra contact lying around in the game. But I didn’t have the opportunity to put one in. So I was playing the rest of the game with one contact in and one contact out. That’s just one of the struggles.”

What Is EVO ICL?

Known for its innovative approach to vision correction, Parkhurst NuVision employs advanced techniques and cutting-edge technology to provide patients with exceptional outcomes. The EVO ICL is a state-of-the-art, minimally invasive procedure designed to correct common refractive errors like myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, offering a viable alternative to traditional methods such as LASIK.

The EVO ICL procedure involves inserting a biocompatible lens between the iris and the natural lens of the eye, without altering the cornea. This technology is particularly beneficial for individuals with thin corneas or those who may not be ideal candidates for other types of vision correction surgeries. Carl chose this procedure to enhance his vision and overall quality of life, allowing him to better focus on both his personal and professional endeavors.

Parkhurst NuVision and EVO-ICL

By choosing Parkhurst NuVision, Carl joined a growing number of people opting for EVO ICL to achieve a clear, sharp vision. This decision underscores the increasing popularity and trustworthiness of the EVO ICL technology, which boasts high satisfaction rates among patients. With his improved vision, the former UTSA standout can look forward to experiencing life with newfound clarity and confidence, and continue training athletes without having to worry about dry contacts.

Carl says “It’s a great feeling and to not have to put contacts in and take them out every night. It’s a big relief to just wake up and see”.
