Dr. Parkhurst is proud to serve as the president of The Refractive Surgery Alliance, a group of physicians from across the world, which was formed to execute the following mission: Promote the safe delivery of the benefits of refractive surgery in the US and worldwide through collaboration, education, leadership, and compassion.
“We are now offering patients vision correction with unprecedented quality and results,” Dr. Parkhurst said. “The Refractive Surgery Alliance was formed to identify and address the barriers to public awareness, helping more people understand the benefits of vision correction and the freedom it can provide.”
All physicians belonging to the RSA are board-certified/board-eligible ophthalmologists who have a special interest in refractive surgery, are leaders in their field, and also who have been selected and approved by the executive board. The RSA was founded by Guy Kezirian, M.D., MBA, FACS and aims to create an alliance of highly qualified, ethical refractive surgeons to help promote refractive surgery through education, research, management, and patient care.
