Dr. Arendt’s LASIK Story

Dr. Lily Arendt remembers getting her first pair of contact lenses in the 4th grade. With years of contact lens wear she ultimately developed contact lens-related dry eye. Wearing her lenses for 8+ hours a day became more and more difficult due to her dryness symptoms. Because of this, she didn’t think that LASIK would be for her, but during her LASIK evaluation at Parkhurst NuVision she learned she was a great candidate! Her dryness symptoms were caused by her contact lenses and she knew this because when she went days without wearing them, her eyes felt good as new. Today, she is thrilled with her vision after LASIK and her eyes feel so much better! After her own experience, Dr. Arendt loves educating patients with dry eye about the refractive options that are best for them.
